Punto Banco Codes
Baccarat is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the first digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of one (five plus six equals 11; dump the initial ‘1′).
A third card will be dealt using the following rules:
- If the player or house gets a total of 8 or nine, both players hold.
- If the player has less than five, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.
- If the gambler stays, the bank hits on five or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to decide if the bank stays or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The better of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19:20 (even money minus a 5% commission. The Rake is recorded and cleared out once you leave the table so be sure to still have funds left just before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Be wary of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)
Wagered on properly baccarat provides generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Banque Course of Action
As with all games Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future outcomes. Keeping score of previous outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most accepted and likely the most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This technique is deployed to pump up profits and minimizing losses.
Start by placing one unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will retain six on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third bet. Should you succeed on the third bet, deposit two to the four on the game table for a total of 6 on the 4th wager.
If you do not win on the first round, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the first bet followed by a loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Success on the first 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a take of two. And success on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you are even. Winning all 4 wagers gives you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you are able to give up the second round five instances for every successful streak of four bets and in the end, experience no loss.
