Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards under ten are give a value of face value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they strictly represent the two hands to be given out).

Two hands of two cards will then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the grand total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For example, a hand of 7 and five will have a score of two (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be dealt depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, each players stand.

- If the bettor has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores wins. Victorious bets on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so make sure to have dollars remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie commonly pays eight to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is an awful wager as ties occur lower than 1 every ten hands. Avoid betting on a tie. Even so odds are far better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)

Played accurately, baccarat offers generally decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future actions. Monitoring of old results on a chart is a total waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and almost certainly most successful method is the 1-3-2-six concept. This scheme is deployed to magnify successes and controlling risk.

Begin by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the third gamble, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Thus that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
