Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they only portray the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand shall be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For example, a hand of 7 … 5 has a value of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following practices:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or 9, each bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart is used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores is the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so make sure to have $$$$$ remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pay out 8 to one and on occasion 9 to one. (This is a bad bet as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. Stay away from laying money on a tie. Still, odds are generously better – nine to one vs. eight to one)

When played effectively, baccarat presents pretty good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. 1 of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually an actual indicator of future events. Monitoring of historic results on a chart is for sure a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and possibly most successful tactic is the 1-3-2-six scheme. This scheme is employed to pump up winnings and cutting back risk.

start by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a value of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. In other words that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
