Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards of a value less than 10 are of their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they merely portray the two hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for each hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 results in a tally of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. standards:

- If the player or banker has a total of eight or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used in order to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores will be the winner. Successful bets on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie commonly pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a terrible gamble as ties occur less than 1 every ten hands. Stay away from wagering on a tie. Still, odds are generously better – nine to 1 versus 8 to one)

When done smartly, baccarat offers generally good odds, away from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future events. Monitoring of old conclusions on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and probably most successful method is the 1-3-2-six scheme. This process is deployed to maximize successes and lowering risk.

commence by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Winning all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. In other words you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
