Punto Banco Policies and Strategy

Punto Banco Codes

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the first number is ignored. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (5 plus six = eleven; ignore the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or banker achieves a score of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the player has five or lower, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler stays, the bank hits on a total less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is employed to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The bigger of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the house pay out nineteen to Twenty (even money minus a 5 percent rake. The Rake is kept track of and paid off when you quit the game so make sure you have cash left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a bad wager as ties happen less than one in every ten hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Bet on properly punto banco offers relatively good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Course of Action

As with all games baccarat banque has some general false impressions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Tracking past results on a chart is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most common and possibly the most acknowledged strategy is the one-three-two-six tactic. This method is used to maximize winnings and minimizing risk.

Start by wagering one unit. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a sum of three units on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain six on the table, pull off four so you are left with 2 on the third bet. Should you come away with a win on the third round, deposit 2 to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth round.

If you don’t win on the 1st round, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the second causes a hit of two. Success on the first 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a profit of 2. And success on the initial 3 with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning at all four wagers gives you with 12, a take of 10. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd round five times for each successful run of four bets and in the end, break even.
