Punto Banco Rules and Plan

Baccarat Codes

Baccarat banque is gambled on with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below 10 are worth face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the 1st number is discarded. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a score of 1 (5 plus six equals 11; ditch the 1st ‘1′).

A additional card can be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or bank has a value of eight or 9, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has less than five, she hits. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player holds, the house hits on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a table is used to see if the bank stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (even money minus a five percent rake. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you leave the game so make sure you have cash left over before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for tie usually pays 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a bad wager as ties occur less than one in every 10 rounds. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)

Played correctly punto banco gives pretty good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games punto banco has quite a few common false impressions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events yet to happen. Recording previous outcomes on a chart is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most acknowledged course of action is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This plan is used to maximize profits and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting one chip. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold 6 on the game table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the third round. Should you succeed on the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the game table for a sum total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of 1. A win on the 1st round followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the first three with a defeat on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to give up the second wager 5 instances for each favorable streak of four bets and in the end, experience no loss.
